The theatre is the result of DCW’s partnership with the Construction Innovation Hub, an organization that launched 12 months ago to drive innovation and technological advances in UK construction. Financed through a £72 million investment from UK Research and Innovation’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, it aims to change the way buildings and infrastructure are designed, manufactured, integrated and connected within our built environment.

The Hub brings together world-class expertise from the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), Building Research Establishment (BRE) and the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) to transform the UK construction industry.

Sessions to watch out for include a fireside chat with Hannah Vickers, CEO of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and Keith Waller, programme director for the Construction Innovation Hub. They’ll be discussing key findings from the CLC’s work on Procuring for Value, showcasing the detailed research led by ACE on Value Based Business models and launching an exciting new collaboration to progress the value agenda.
