Biography

Sam Fishman manages CEGA’s Data Science for Development and Technology for Development portfolios, which include the Development Impact Lab (DIL). He has worked to support high-quality and policy relevant research around the world since 2015, and joined CEGA in 2019. Previously, he worked with the World Bank’s Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund (SIEF), leading their cost-analysis work and supporting a portfolio of research on the impacts of education, health, water and sanitation, and early childhood development interventions in low and middle income countries. He holds an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics at Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago.
